Mediation is a method of alternative dispute resolution that allows parties to address conflict outside the courtroom. Mediators do not take sides or make decisions for the parties involved. Instead, they facilitate open discussions to help the parties identify key issues and work toward a mutually agreeable resolution.
Effective July 1st, 2022, all family matters in Saskatchewan courts must first participate a family dispute resolution process before proceeding with further court action. To meet this requirement, parties must attempt dispute resolution with a recognized family mediator, family arbitrator, or parenting coordinator. Our Qualified Mediator is here to guide you through this process in compliance with The King’s Bench Act, 2023.
